Lambton
Quay entrance Local Government Building
Comprehensive design
for the reconfiguration of a new ground floor entrance Lambton Quay
building, including removal
of former bank vault and tenancy relocations. The new vaulted linear
ceiling
draws users through to the rear lift lobby area and incorporates wall
panels of New Zealand
veneer timbers, contrasting painted finishes, and polished terrazzo
type stone flooring.
Civic
Assurance executive offices
Space planning, revised
layout and refurbishment of level 9 managerial floor, to provide
extended conference, meeting, reception and lounge facilities, and
executive offices. NMA designed and selected all furniture, colours and
finishes.

CPNZ's head office in
the heritage listed South British Building on Wellington's Golden Mile.
Space planning, colour advice and fitout enabled a welcoming and
contemporary space for clients and employees, with video-conferencing
bureau facilities, display and demonstration space for digital
projectors and office equipment presentation media.

Complaints Commission
Design, documentation
and administration of 240m2 interior. Design and fabrication
of acoustic panels within call centre. Lighting solutions and colour
scheme.

McGuinness Offices
Upgrade to office
entrance and outdoor area, imagery, signage, landscape concepts. A
further project to upgrade of office space for one of Wellington's
largest construction companies.

Serviced
office complex
As part of the on-going
upgrade to Civic Assurance's Lambton Quay Building, NMA completed
interior design on a number of floors of the Local Government Building,
including provision for 300m2 of serviced office suite
accommodation.

Feng shui and the law
In their relocation to the Plaza level, 89 The Terrace, Wellington, NMA
provided the interior design for Stephens Lawyers' new offices.
Elements gleaned from the film industry were successfully
incorporated by the design and construction team, with the use of
'set-design' demountable wall partitions allowing for the future
flexibility of the office layout.
