Queenstown Town Centre
NMA directors (in former
practice) were engaged by the Queenstown Lakes District Council to
provide strategies for the future urban fabric and structure of the

development and commercial zonings, and a provisional staged strategy
for implementation. Recommendations included mechanisms for on-going
involvement of the community in civic projects (private/public
partnerships and other initiatives), streetworks, heritage protection,
urban design guidelines, and land area calculations for future
